5 Personal Branding Trends That Will Impact Your Success in 2015 (in under 200 words)

6 January, 2015

Adapted from the Forbes article by William Arruda – one of the world’s leading personal branding specialists – here are 5 trends that will impact your success in 2015:

Digital First. As if you don’t already know it, the handshake is now the second impression. Your digital identity is first. Make sure yours is congruous with who you are in the real world.

Time over Money. Time is unquestionably our most valuable resource, and outsourcing is easier and more affordable than it used to be. More people are reaping the benefits of the attitude “if someone else can do it, they should”.

Video wall falls. Thanks to smart phones people are more comfortable using video than they used to be. And just in time, because demand and know-how are accelerating faster than anyone could have predicted.

Coaching for all. No longer the domain of top executives, coaching has become mainstream. Because we need to do more with less, we rely on coaches to help develop our talent and drive our results.

Smaller. Faster. Simpler. Better. Everything has sped up and the space to do it in is becoming smaller. Articles have become blogs and blogs have become tweets. The need to communicate clearly and concisely is critical.

In the words of Deb Dib “So what? Make me care and do it fast.”
